Leah Gelpe designs video, film and sound for live performance. Projection designs include Concerning Strange Devices from the Distant West (Berkeley Rep), The Turn of the Screw (Boston Lyric Opera), The Ohio State Murders (Theatre for a New Audience), Walmartopia (Minetta Lane), Britannicus (American Repertory Theatre), Indian Blood (Primary Stages), and Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell (Naked Angels). Sound designs include Circle Mirror Transformation (Playwrights Horizons), Two September (The Flea), Mark Smith (13P), God's Ear (Vineyard Theatre), Saved (Theatre for a New Audience) and The Black Monk (Yale Rep). Current and upcoming projects include UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW with Young Jean Lee Theater Company and The Big Meal at Playwrights Horizons. Outside of the US, she has worked in Berlin, Budapest, Paris, Istanbul, Vienna and Salzburg.
